Homemade Almond Milk with Granola

Almond milk is really yummy and easy to make.  I whip it up in 5 minutes and serve it with homemade granola, use it in oatmeal or drink it straight up!  It's best to have a nut milk bag to strain the milk to make it smoother and creamier, but a fine sieve and some patience will work just as well.




  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • dash of salt
  • 20 ounces of water
  • 1 tbsp. honey or agave nectar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and process for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Pour into a nut milk bag and squeeze out the liquid.
  3. Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
