We all need a little something sweet every once in a while. However, in order to control blood sugar spikes, it's important to remove the refined sugars and high fructose corn syrup from the diet.
Children, on average, eat a whopping 32 tsp. of sugar daily (and that's an average on the low side) and adults eat about 22 tsp. daily. Over the span of a lifetime, this adds up to 3,550 pounds of sugar...enough to fill a dumpster. Wowza!
So, you can have your sweets and eat them too with some healthier, yet tasty, treats. Try some of mine and let me know what you think.
