What is EatPureGold?  Am I suggesting that you ingest Gold?  Not at all!  What I'd like to do is create a paradigm shift for everyone who visits this site to have a Gold Standard for food.  What does that mean?  Well, throughout history (until the early 1970s), the price of gold set the standard by which all other currencies were valued.  Gold was the standard because it has been a highly valuable and sought-after precious metal since long before the beginning of recorded history.

How does that standard apply to food you ask?  Well, if you measure everything you put into your body by what an overwhelming amount of research says is good, better and best then you have a standard by which to go by.

What I will share with you is what I have learned through my own experiences and research through the years, but most importantly is what I've had to unlearn.  We are, in fact, what we eat and in order to fight disease, live a full life and stay healthy it's imperative that we take care to watch what we put into our bodies.

I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Program.

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world's top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching and preventative health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
